How Recommendations Work
Your Daily® uses information about how you're feeling to identify your current nervous system state, then recommends tools specifically designed to help you shift toward regulation.
Your Nervous System States
Your body can be in different states depending on how safe or stressed it feels. Maybe you've heard of "Fight or Flight?" Well, there are actually more states than just those two:
- Fight - Feeling tense, irritable, reactive, or edgy
- Flight - Feeling anxious, racing thoughts, restless energy
- Freeze - Feeling foggy, shut down, unmotivated, withdrawn
- Fawn - Feeling overly accommodating, wired but tired, boundary-less
- Fold - Feeling collapsed, hopeless, tearful
- Regulated - Feeling even-tempered, stable, grounded. This is what we intend to achieve
Your Daily® identifies which state you're in and recommends tools that help your nervous system shift toward safety and regulation.

Using Your Recommendations Effectively
Do the Practice, Don't Just Watch
For somatic exercises especially, the benefit comes from actually doing the movements—not just watching the videos. Give yourself permission to move your body, even if it feels awkward at first.
Start Small
You don't need to do a long practice. Even 2-5 minutes can shift your nervous system. Your Daily® is designed to work in less than 5 minutes a day.
Try What Feels Right
If a recommendation doesn't feel like a good fit, that's okay. Not every tool is a perfect fit for everyone. You can browse other options in the De-Stress tab or ask the AI Health Coach for alternatives.
Notice How You Feel
