Your First Check-In

The Check-In is one of the quickest ways to get personalized recommendations to help you feel better based on how you're feeling right now.

What is the Check-In?

The Check-In helps you:

  • Identify how your body and mind are feeling in the moment
  • Get personalized tool recommendations for your current state
  • Track patterns in your nervous system over time

It takes less than a minute and gives you immediate, actionable support.

How to Access the Check-In

There are two ways to start a check-in:

  1. From the Home Screen - Tap the De-Stress Tools button
  2. From the De-Stress Tab - Navigate to the De-Stress tab and tap the Check-In button

What to Expect

During your check-in, you'll:

  1. Answer questions about how you're feeling - The app will ask about your current physical, mental, and emotional state
  2. Get personalized recommendations - Based on your responses, you'll receive suggestions for tools that match your nervous system's needs right now
  3. Choose what to try - Pick from the recommended somatic exercises, meditations, journal prompts, or other tools

Your Recommendations

The tools recommended to you are specifically chosen for your current nervous system state:

  • If you're feeling tense or irritable - You might get exercises to release that activation
  • If you're feeling anxious or overwhelmed - You might get grounding practices
  • If you're feeling foggy or shut down - You might get gentle energizing exercises
  • If you're feeling collapsed or hopeless - You might get soothing, compassionate practices

Multiple Check-Ins Per Day

You can do a Check-In as many times as you want. Feel free to check in again later in the day when you're feeling differently than you were before. You will get updated recommendations based on the way you are feeling in the moment.

Alternative: Ask the AI Health Coach

The Check-In is great for quick recommendations, but you can also get personalized support from the AI Health Coach, which offers:

  • Conversational support
  • Deeper exploration of your symptoms
  • Education about what's happening in your nervous system
  • Customized guidance for your specific situation
