The RESET Process

The RESET Process is Your Daily®'s signature framework for moving from survival mode to a regulated, resilient state.

What is RESET?

RESET stands for five stages of nervous system healing. The AI Health Coach and the app's tools are all designed around this process.

You don't need to follow all five steps every time - the app meets you where you are and guides you to what you need most.

The Five Stages

1. Release

Immediate relief from activation

When you're feeling stressed, anxious, tense, or overwhelmed, you need to release that stored energy first.

What this looks like:

  • Short somatic exercises to let go of tension
  • Movement that helps complete the stress cycle
  • Practices that shift your physical state

2. Educate

Understanding why your body feels this way

Once you've released some activation, it helps to understand what's happening.

What this looks like:

  • Simple explanations of your nervous system
  • Understanding that you're not broken - your body is protecting you
  • Connecting symptoms to nervous system states

3. Soothe

Calming the stress response and creating safety

After releasing and understanding, you need to soothe your system and teach it safety.

What this looks like:

  • Calming meditations
  • Gentle somatic practices
  • Self-compassion and comfort
  • Regular practices that signal safety to your body

Tools that help: Meditations, gentle somatic exercises, binaural beats, journal prompts

4. Establish

Building small daily habits

Lasting change comes from consistent, small practices - not one-time fixes.

What this looks like:

  • 2-5 minute daily practices
  • Morning, midday, or evening routines
  • Realistic habits that fit into your life
  • Consistency over intensity

5. Transform

Experiencing lasting change

When you practice regularly, transformation happens naturally. Your nervous system learns to stay regulated more often.

What this looks like:

  • Noticing you're calmer more often
  • Symptoms happening less frequently
  • Feeling more present and connected
  • Resilience in stressful situations

The key: Transformation comes from repeated practice, not perfection

How Your Daily® Uses RESET

When you use the app, you're moving through this process:

  • Want to understand what's happening? The coach provides Education
  • Building a practice? The tools support Soothe, Establish, and Transform

You're always supported at whatever stage you need.

It's Not Linear

You don't move through RESET once and you're done. You might:

  • Need to Release multiple times a day
  • Come back to Education as you learn more about yourself
  • Soothe regularly as part of your practice
  • Continuously Establish new habits
  • Experience ongoing Transformation

That's normal. Healing isn't a straight line.
